James Howell is a proud New Orleans native, hailing from a large family with deep roots in the city's vibrant culture. With twenty years both hospitality and real estate experience, James brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as a real estate professional.

Highly trained in customer service and armed with an intimate knowledge of the city, James has a natural ability to maintain the highest level of service for each of his clients. His passion for the culture, neighborhoods, and architecture of New Orleans makes real estate a perfect fit for James, allowing him to combine his love for the city with his commitment to helping others find their perfect home.

James began his real estate career in 2003 at Latter&Blum before joining Urban Vision when it first became a brokerage in 2006, gaining valuable experience and expertise in the local real estate market. After a detour in life led him to Canada for 8 years, James and his Husband owned and operated a successful cleaning business in Canada, before returning home to New Orleans.

Upon his return, it made perfect sense for James to team back up with his long-time best friend, MJ, and join her at Urban Vision. Upon Urban Visions merger with Keller Williams New Orleans, James and MJ formed MJ's Home Team, leveraging their combined experience and expertise to provide exceptional service to their clients.

Now, in 2024, Urban Vision returns to its roots as a dynamic real estate team equipped with the best tools and resources to help their clients reach their goals.
